Love Craft Beers, Visit this new happening place in Powai

The Beer Paddle Visited this place last Tuesday with a Friend and i must say the place is lit and gives very good vibes as soon as you enter. Surely it's a must visit place for Craft Beer Lovers, Though i only liked dark ones only. Beer Cocktails here are a must try. Seating arrangement is very good and specious enough. Even the tables are a bit bigger than regular size which gives enough room to place the food as per comfort. Some nice decoration all around and they have DJ events on weekends and special days as well. So if you want to party with some delicious food and craft beers this is one of the places you should be. We started with The Beer Paddle which is a 4 glasses of 200ml beer and you can choose from available flavors. We had "The Pilsner", "Hefeweizen",  "Dark Lager" & "Coffee Stout". Both the "Dark Lager" & "Coffee Stout" were very good, Loved this two. Other two were not according to my tas

Madras Diaries (Bandra West) - Authentic South Indian food at it's best

Kokum Cooler
Visited this amazing place which serves authentic South Indian cuisine. They have 2 sections AC and Non-AC. Combining both i believe it can serve around 50 people at a time. The ambiance is very delightful, Specially i liked all the decor in Non-AC section better than the AC one. Soothing south Indian music is playing continuously to set the mood according to the theme. Being a one to eat chatakedar khana, I was skeptical about this place. But i was wrong, This place has some amazing food with amazing taste(Even for me :P).

We started our order with "Idli Platter", In which we are served with one portion of 4 different idlis. We were served with Rawa Idli, Tahttu Idli, Ragi Idli, Navdhaniya Idli. Navdhaniya and Rawa idli were the one's i liked more. Sambhar was a bit different then regular places, But was definitely better.

To go with our food we ordered couple of drinks "Spiced Lemon with Basil Seed" & "Kokum Cooler". Kokum cooler was definitely a killer. Perfectly tangy, Loved this drink.

Vazhaipoo Vada
After idli it was time for Vada, So tried "Vazhaipoo Vada", Vazhaipoo is Banana Flower. It was also good, It is only served with Coconut chutney. For non-south indian's it would probably feel similar to dal vada's .

In Dosa's we tried, "Kara Dosa". Which is more like a sada dosa. But with a mixture of spicy podi(powder mixture of ground dry spices that typically contains dried chilis, urad dal, chickpeas, and sesame seeds) powder.

After trying this variation of normal south Indian food we eat, We were ready for actual south indian food. So ordered "Red rice appam", Which i can define as Dosa style Rotis. It was served with coconut based raita kind of gravy. Didn't enjoy that gravy much, But it was rich with coconut. Appam's were very good.

Kothu Parotta

Then ordered "Cheese Chilli Jalapeno Idli in Masala Fondue", This was 2nd most favorite dish of the day. By name i feel it's a fusion of south indian dish idli. In this we get mini idli's(More than 10) with masala fondue. Must try this dish.

Before moving to the dessert, We tried "Kothu Parotta". Which was by far the best dish of the evening. Popular food from Tamilnadu. It's a crushed parotta(Roti) mixed with kurma. Served with Raita. Everything about this dish was awesome. A must must try.

Also tried Masala Buttermilk, While my friend had Masala Tea. Both of which were perfectly made. So next time i visit this place. Kothu Parotta and Masala Tea is a definite for me.

Madras Diaries Special Bread Halwa
Finished our meal with "Madras Diaries Special Bread Halwa", which was very tempting and a perfect dessert for me. Halwa was very delicious and with a lot of dry-fruits. Loved it. This was our 3rd choice for the dessert, Since the first 2 were not available we came to this one. But we were glad :P.

The place actually doesn't have any downside other than prices, But being the category of this place "Fine Dine - Authentic South Indian place", The prices are reasonable.

Recommendations :- Kokum Cooler, Kara Dosa, Cheese Chilli Jalapeno Idli in Masala Fondue, Kothu Parotta & Madras Diaries Special Bread Halwa
